SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
OVERVIEW:
Cinema Vita Film Festival seeks to find and exhibit visionary works that focus on the dignity of the human person from conception to natural death. We are committed to using the silver screen to challenge our culture in a unique way. We are looking for films that consider ethical dilemmas associated with life---and in resolving them in a way that recognizes life’s deep significance.
GUIDELINES:
Cinema Vita accepts films of 3 to 5 minutes in length and of all genres: conventional, narrative, documentary, animation, etc. Our only parameter is that films be associated with contemporary issues involving life---particularly at its most vulnerable stages.
EVALUATION CRITERIA:
· Overall impact of film message.
· Storyline structure/plot.
· Application of technical enhancements/special effects.
· Appeal to broad base audience.

(1) High School (2) College (3) Open Classification.

FINAL DEADLINE:
Postmark by February 14, 2008. Early submission encouraged.

· Complete Submission Form. Click here to download a PDF version of the form.
· Include 3 DVD preview copies, labeled with title of film, entrant’s name, school
(if applicable), address, telephone number, email. Submissions will not be returned.
· Include a one-page or less description of your film.
· Self-addressed, stamped postcard, if confirmation is desired.
· Entry fee of $20, with check made payable to San Francisco Archdiocese, Office of Public Policy. |
